The technique was created in the Psychoneurological Institute (NIPNI) them. Bekhtereva based on the test of intellectual abilities of P. Rzhichan. The test of intellectual potential is a practical test of a non-verbal nature, independent of the cultural characteristics of the subjects. A high result is manifested in the ability of a person to understand the logical connections between objects and phenomena.
Intellectual potential test is used in the following cases:
- Evaluation of general intellectual abilities (humanitarian and technical index).
- Comprehensive diagnosis of the structure of intelligence.
- Correlation of the degree of development of the components of intelligence.
- Definition of professional orientation.
- Recognition of the level of creativity.
- Identification of potential (development of logic, selective attention, ability to learn).
The technique includes 4 trial and 29 basic tasks. Difficulty — ascending, 20 minutes are given for execution.
